We use 5 Panasonic 3-CCD Broadcast cameras to capture every moment of your wedding. These cameras are wired to the "Director's Station", which is located outside the sanctuary. We take about 90 minutes to setup in the church and we're done by half-hour before the ceremony. The Director decides which camera shots to use and when. The camera operators are in communication with the Director via wireless headsets. The camera on the altar has no camera operator (most churches will not allow it). The camera can still be moved, however, using our remote controlled robotic altar camera. The director is mixing all the cameras together using a video switcher called the TriCaster. We are recording your ceremony directly to a hard drive, to a digital tape back-up and also to a DVD for instant playback at your reception. The churches sound system is used to provide the audio for your video, insuring clear sound from every microphone in the church. We also place other microphones where necessary, such as on the groom and the piano. We can mix as many as 12 different audio sources. We will be producing your wedding ceremony using a technique called "live switching"...similar to a televised sports event or a newscast. We make the decisions about which camera to use right at the moment, not later, in editing. After 15 years in Broadcast Television, we've found this to be the most economical and creative method for producing a wedding. It also allows us to be done editing much sooner. That's why we can deliver your finished video in just 30 days.
Don't panic if this doesn't match the layout of your church. We can apply this set-up to virtually any configuration, including outdoor services.
